Mother Mary Magdalene
This work was inspired by the "lost' gospel of Mary Magdalene and published in the "New, new Testament', which was compiled by Hal Taussig in collaboration with host of other biblical scholars and academics.
Although I would refer to myself a "Christian-ish", I personally believe that the nature of God—The Singularity, The Cosmic Mind, The Grand Fractal or whatever—lies quite beyond the grasp of human comprehension.
Nevertheless, this particular gospel, which was rejected from the First Council of Ni caea— convened in 325 AD expressly to consolidate the power of One Church—emphasizes the value of the feminine and expands upon the notion of tolerance, equality and love for all creation. It was revolutionary in every sense of the word and is as germane today as it was 2000 years ago.
